WELCOME TO THE SCHOOLS PROGRAM REQUEST PORTAL
It’s not just a coincidence that we put the word “community” in our name. Supporting our local community is extremely important to us. We believe that the better off everyone is, the better off we all will be, which is why we support so many community programs. And it’s why we hope that you’ll take part in them, too.
INVESTING IN SCHOOLS, EMPOWERING STUDENTS.
At Delta Community, we leverage our financial strength to engage with your school community to bring effective financial education offerings to students of all ages.
OUR COMMITMENT
As Georgia’s largest credit union, Delta Community is committed to supporting education in the counties that we serve. Through our Schools Program, we provide additional resources to help our local schools thrive. These resources include financial education, STEAM support and school engagement
FINANCIAL EDUCATION
We offer virtual and in-person presentations to help students build a strong financial foundation.
Elementary School - Students are taught the concept of money along with the basics of earning, saving and spending responsibly.
Middle School - Students are taught the basics of money in addition to more advanced concepts such as compound interest. Interactive lessons make the connection between education, careers and earning potential.
High School - These presentations are designed to prepare students for life after high school with lessons on topics such as banking basics, understanding credit and financing higher education.
