The 2017 Texas Star Awards Call For Entries is now OPEN!

The Texas Star Awards is a globally recognized awards competition designed to and honor the exceptional professional achievements of individuals and organizations from the events industry.

Awards will honor work done in the special event's industry for events produced between November 1, 2015 and October 31, 2016.

The awards program is produced by the Texas Chapters of the International Live Events Association (ILEA).  The Dallas Chapter of ILEA manages the process of the award submissions and judging,  The Awards Gala travels from chapter to chapter each year.  In 2017 ILEA Dallas will be hosting the Awards Gala.

 

DATES TO REMEMBER:

December 30, 2016        Early Deadline for Entries

January 6, 2017              Final Deadline for Entries (Late fee applies)

February 10, 2017          Nominations Announced

March 26, 2017              Texas Star Awards Gala at the HILTON ANATOLE HOTEL Dallas

WHO CAN ENTER?

Any person working in the events industry is eligible to enter the Texas Star Awards competition provided the entrant(s) are active members in Events Industry Associations.  Some of the accepted associations are:

Convention and Visitor’s Bureaus

The International Live Events Association (ILEA)

National Association of Catering and Events (NACE)

Meeting Professionals International (MPI)

The Society of Talent and Entertainment Professionals (STEP)

International Catering Association (ICA)

American Rental Association (ARA)

The International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE) 

Society of Wedding Planners (SWP)

The American Association of Certified Wedding Planners (AACWP)
