He has won over 50 regional, national and global awards including multiple Clios, London TV, Campaign Press and B2B Effectiveness – and judged on many awards panels. He has been the Executive Creative Director of The Marketing Practice for over 9 years.

 

Teresa Barreira

Teresa Barreira has spent more than 20 years in senior marketing roles, from 13 years at Accenture and CMO for Deloitte Consulting to her current position of CMO for Publicis Sapient. She has a passion for mentorship and empowers women to bring their authentic selves to work. She believes by being their authentic selves, women will have a greater impact on their teams, companies, but, most importantly, themselves.

Teresa is known for embracing the unknown and operating with fearlessness. She is a proud Hispanic and native of Portugal. She’s lived and worked in the US, Canada, and Europe, and spent most of her career leading teams through transformation, launching new companies, brands, or lines of business, and cultivating a culture of experimentation and learning.

 

Gene Campanelli

After having second thoughts about a life spent fixing photocopiers, Gene quit engineering school and spent a day at his dad’s agency. “I couldn’t believe people were getting paid to be creative for a living”. Over the last 20 years, Gene has created award winning work in everything from technology to finance to travel. For the past 5, he’s been leading brands like State Street Global Advisors & Verizon at McCann NY. His humanistic style of leadership is about giving to and understanding people. He unites teams around a shared purpose and creates environments in which they can thrive.

 

Mark Chamberlain

Mark Chamberlain is Group Creative Director and Head of Experience Design at Deloitte’s Green Dot Agency, and is the former Executive Creative Director of Boston University. Prior to moving in-house, he spent two decades at advertising agencies Saatchi Los Angeles; Mullen; and Digitas; where he created integrated campaigns, social activations, and branded content for global brands including Toyota, Samsung, General Motors, Timberland Pro, Orbitz and Dunkin’. His work has been recognized at Cannes, One Show, Webbys, and London International Awards.

 

Geoffrey Colon

Geoffrey Colon is a compelling voice at the intersection of marketing, tech, media and popular culture. He was Head of the Brand Studio at Microsoft Advertising from 2013 to 2022, where he developed creative thought leadership content for the brand in collaboration with partners. He has written for The Futurist, Advertising Age, and Fast Company, and been quoted in Forbes, Billboard Magazine, The Huffington Post, The Guardian and The Los Angeles Times. He has also appeared on Marketplace on NPR, NASDAQ Live, WABC-AM and Cheddar TV.  Colon is author of the 2016 book Disruptive Marketing: What Growth Hackers, Data Punks, and Other Hybrid Thinkers Can Teach Us About Navigating the New Normal (HarperCollins Leadership). Prior to joining Microsoft in 2013, Colon was VP of Strategy at Ogilvy & Mather in New York City.

Chris is a senior strategist with extensive experience in FMCG, IT, finance and automotive. She has worked at senior levels at Accenture Interactive, Ogilvy and Kantar for major brands including Nestle, IBM, American Express, BP and Canon. That eclectic spread of experience has given her a unique insight into how great brand communications can be made even greater with digital, data and technology. 

She puts those insights into action at The Croc where she heads up a team of creative thinkers. Together they’re reshaping the ways that B2B brand experiences are delivered.

 

Lauren Costa

A former journalist, Lauren started her career covering sports and style for publications like the Washington Post. Invaluable experience, as it turns out, as she went on to help launch Wieden+Kennedy’s first Social Media Lab, which created and populated ESPN’s inaugural Facebook and Twitter pages. True content creation has remained at the heart of Lauren’s work, which includes a movie made out of actual atoms for IBM, and a six-episode TV series for Xfinity. Lauren has worked across a wide variety of clients from ESPN and Keds to IBM to S&P Global. She has been recognized by all the major award shows, including One Show, Cannes, D&AD, and the Emmys.

 

Jess Davis

With over 15 years of experience, Jess has worked on pretty much every category—from baby toys to blockchain to retirement planning—and written everything from CRM emails up to Super Bowl spots. He has received multiple awards for work on TD Ameritrade, BNY Mellon, Electronic Arts, and Levi-Strauss, and brings a largely consumer background to Doremus where he helps bring B2B strategies to life in highly relevant and inspiring ways.

 

Kate Flather

Kate’s creative career began in B2C, where she worked with a long list of retail, automotive and charity clients. She once got to spend a day in a recording studio with a famous poet. It was almost as much fun as making a TV campaign involving kids singing about p**p, which won a surprising number of awards including Thinkboxes, Caples and a DMA gold. When B2B Land beckoned, Kate packed her pencils and joined Earnest, where she soon became addicted to the challenge of creating engaging campaigns for the complex, the intangible, the invisible and the as-yet unknown. She hasn’t looked back, and is now creative director at Rooster Punk, the agency that’s on a mission to humanize B2B.

 

Jim Foster

Jim has spent 21 years in the highly competitive New York City advertising world as a copywriter and creative director. He’s brought ideas to life at some of the industry’s best-known agencies, working on blue chip brands such as Verizon, Chase, Marriott and Pfizer, as well as smaller ones like Sam Adams and Mitchum. Specializing in integrated marketing, Jim’s extensive experience spans television, print, direct marketing, B2B and, of course, digital and social media. Nearly two years ago, looking for new challenges, Jim joined Travelers’ in-house creative services department as a Senior Director/copywriter. He’s now part of a scrappy team that’s pushing the venerable insurance company’s employee, customer and community marketing communications to new heights.

Mike Fredrick is the Chief Creative Officer at Nelson Schmidt in Milwaukee. A copywriter by craft, he has worked on multichannel campaigns for clients ranging from Fortune 100 behemoths to local non-profit organizations. Mike has proudly dedicated his entire 25-year career to working at agencies in his home city, ignoring the notion that creativity is relegated only to certain locales. His philosophy is that creativity is the most powerful weapon in business today, and he works closely with clients to infuse their brands and organizations with a creative competitive advantage. When not at work, you’ll find Mike’s face in a book or his butt on a bike.

Alexis is a multifaceted Creative Director at Havas NY currently leading the Wells Fargo account. Over her 14 years in the ad world she’s worked on breakthrough campaigns for B2B brands like IBM, UPS, ADP—and even a few non-acronyms. Her work has been recognized by the One Show, Clios and Communication Arts.  When not writing, you can find her at a comedy show or hunting down the best garlic knot in NYC.

of agency environments and expertise from general to multicultural. Mark has dedicated himself to championing work that drives results, measures success, and pushes innovation in the market. As a graduate of the Portfolio Center - Miami Ad School in Atlanta, Georgia, Mark continues to cultivate a deep love for quality of craftsmanship, intelligent problem solving and developing engaging creative across all channels including traditional, digital and experiential.

 

 

Josh Lieber

When Josh was nine, he asked his father, “Dad, how much does it cost to write a TV commercial, ‘cause it looks like fun?" His father answered, "They pay you."

Josh has since worked at notable agencies such as Young & Rubicam and Innocean Worldwide where, as a Creative Director/Copywriter on Hyundai, he helped drive the company to ten quarters of record growth. His agency work has received the coveted Global ACE award, a Cannes Lion, CLIOs and many others. Currently, Josh is Sr. Creative Director of Agency Ingram Micro, overseeing the creative output for the company and its co-branded B2B campaigns.  Josh is also produced screenwriter. His latest film premiered on the Lifetime Channel and stars the late Ed Asner.

 

Steve Long

Steve Long joined Gravity Global in 1993, with considerable creative experience gained from years at well-respected agencies such as Grandfield Rork Collins, McCann Erickson and Y&R-Wunderman. He has worked on many prestigious accounts including Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola, Esso, RAC, Canon and Barclays, as well as serving as Creative Group Head for Ford. At Gravity Global he works across the entire client portfolio. He has sat on several creative judging panels including IPA, IAC, B2B Marketing and The Drum. Outside of work he puts his creative skills to use by writing crime novels.

Jim Piercy is Group Creative Director in EMEA & ASIA at The Trust, the in-house Brand Studio and creative consultancy of The Wall Street Journal |Barron's Group Advertising Department. Based in London. Jim joined The Wall Street Journal in 2014, and now gives creative oversight to custom projects across the globe. An award-winning video producer, Jim has worked on a wide variety of campaigns including partnerships with Samsung, Star Alliance & Netflix. Jim previously worked at Bloomberg where he developed their custom content model for television. If he's not working, you'll find him on his bike.

Sonoo Singh is the co-founder of Creative Salon, the home of commercial creativity - founded last year in 2020 with her partner, former Campaign global editor, Claire Beale. 

Born and raised in India, Sonoo has worked with some of biggest national newspapers in India including The Tribune and The Indian Express. She arrived in London in 2000 and landed a gig at Marketing Week where she stayed for almost 13 years and went on to become the editor. Sonoo has more than two decades of experience reporting on media and marketing and has also worked at M&M Global, Festival of Media, Campaign and The Drum.

She lives in London with her husband, her 15 year old son, and an extensive collection of books.

As his name might suggest, Scott Thibodeaux grew up in a tiny Cajun town near New Orleans—just miles from where they make Tabasco. As if by fate, his first ad campaign was for a hot sauce, and he soon moved to Dallas and DDB, the agency that handled the Tabasco account.

There, Scott built an award-winning portfolio working on the Pepsi, and that work brought him to the AT&T Wireless account at McCann Erickson in San Francisco, where he’s lived ever since.

From New Orleans to Dallas to San Francisco, Scott has creative directed brand identities, advertising, and social engagements for clients such as NetApp, AT&T, CBS, CNET, Google, HP, HPE, Microsoft, Nokia, Pepsi, Samsung, and Visa.

Today, Ted finds himself at Mower, helping B2B brands create deep emotional connections with their audience. The same caliber of award-winning, emotionally impactful work that Ted has produced for clients such as Grainger, Grant Thornton, Insperity, McCain, Sentry, Transamerica and USG. When Ted’s not helping brands tell good stories, he’s trying to convince his two teenage sons to hang out with him and play Warhammer.

Kim Wright

After graduating from the Art Center College of Design, Kim went to work as an art director at Cole Henderson Drake, Atlanta where she created transformative campaigns for The Ritz-Carlton, Bush’s Baked Beans, Atlanta Gas Light, The Organ Donor Foundation, US Forest Service, Amnesty International and Georgia Pacific.

After bringing CHD their first appearances in The One Show and Archive and numerous Addy wins, Kim headed to Saatchi & Saatchi LA. There she spent the next decade creating national print campaigns for Toyota, whose commercial earned her a Cannes Finalist award. In addition to her decade at Saatchi, she’s worked for shops like Chiat/Day, Deutsch, and 72 and Sunny and launched her own agency, Bridge13.
