The Bardo is a new kind of hotel experience, blending the nostalgic charm of classic seaside resorts with modern luxury and innovation. Hotel Bardo Savannah, the flagship property located in the historic Forsyth Park mansion, marks a significant moment for the brand’s evolution. As the first introduction to this innovative concept, the website needed to set a powerful and inviting tone, not only for travelers seeking quick escapes along the eastern seaboard but also for local influencers, families, and digital nomads. Our primary goal was to create a digital platform that reflected Bardo’s ethos—an immersive, luxurious urban resort and social club that fosters a sense of community while offering travelers a next-level destination. The website needed to do more than showcase the property; it had to evoke the Bardo lifestyle through inspiring visuals and a seamless user experience. We built the site to reflect the brand’s transformative personality: playful yet tasteful, modern but warm. Leveraging Bardo’s strong visual identity, we incorporated bold, high-quality photography and subtle branding elements to create a visually striking and inviting atmosphere. Careful attention was paid to each design detail, ensuring that the online experience mirrored the sophistication of the hotel’s interior and outdoor spaces. We also integrated a streamlined booking platform, ensuring that from the moment users arrived on the site, they experienced a frictionless, branded journey through to booking a room. The site was not only designed to impress but also to convert, optimizing for mobile and desktop views alike and capturing users at various stages of the planning and booking process.

The website’s sleek, user-friendly design, coupled with compelling visual storytelling, has drawn users deeper into the brand’s universe, creating higher levels of interaction and emotional engagement. In terms of booking performance, the site boasts a 27% Booking Engine Entrance Rate, meaning more than a quarter of all visitors are transitioning directly into the booking phase. This seamless user journey from landing page to booking engine demonstrates the site’s effectiveness in guiding potential guests through the decision-making process.
