Adrian Awards 2020
Goals: Clearly state your marketing goals. What did you strive to achieve using this piece or program?
CAMPAIGN BACKGROUND During these unprecedented times, people are staying and working from home resulting in increased usage of smartphones and social media. They are counting on social media for entertainment and/or to find the latest news. With people’s tendency to be on their phones and a little bit of effort to spread a small piece of good news to the world, we wanted to take this opportunity to send out positive messages and inspire our audience to dream again of traveling whilst educating them on the best hotel loyalty program, Wyndham Rewards. CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVE To create meaningful, own-able content & make an emotional connection with our everyday travelers. We wanted to show that we care and understand, and most importantly inspire them to dream again of traveling. To achieve +15% increase on Facebook Page Likes and 50,000 total engagement on Instagram.
Results: Which of your original goals did you achieve and how? How did you measure the effectiveness of the piece or campaign? Entrants should provide quantifiable results of their tactics or campaigns. (for example, click through rates or ad equivalency)
The Win Now, Travel Later contest in the SEAPR Region was meant to drive engagement to the post and to encourage the audience to dream of traveling again soon when they are ready. The creative direction showcases this message by using several travel themed videos including compelling copy. As a result, we received relatively high-quality submissions and more than 500,000 total impressions. Overall, there was a significant increase in page likes (+ 43%) which exceeded our goal. More growth was seen in 4 other main areas such as Engagement, Daily Post Engagement Rate, Page Reach and Page Impression – all had growth Month over Month.
